What inspired you to join Bernstein?
I joined Bernstein in 2005 because I wanted to work with a talented team of people. Fortunately, those I manage and work with today possess qualities that make me want to become a better person and professional. They give me the motivation to do great work, the discipline to not settle for anything less than excellence, and the courage to give my all to my current role. It is so important that I attach my name to a firm that holds itself to the highest standards of integrity, prioritizes clients first and foremost, and truly values its people. I still recall how exhilarated I felt after leaving my first round of interviews, knowing that I had found exactly what I was looking for.
What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?
I chose to build my career at Bernstein quite simply because of the people. My managers, mentors, and advocates are also my colleagues, collaborators, and friends. Finally, I stay at Bernstein because of the people who I have hired, mentored, and cheered on as they made their own careers and paths to success.
Which personal accomplishment makes you proudest?
My proudest personal accomplishment is becoming a mom to my two wonderful boys. Watching them grow and having the opportunity to see the world through their eyes has been one of the greatest joys in my life. This experience has also made me ever more grateful for my own wonderful parents. As I was growing up, my parents told me that I should aspire to do whatever would bring me happiness as long I gave it nothing short of my best effort.
