What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?
To me, wealth management goes far beyond investment returns and world-class research. There is an important emotional aspect to how each family’s money is managed. I love understanding each client’s values, aspirations, risk tolerance, and family dynamic. These details are essential to my thoughtful approach, which helps me identify investment solutions that can help alleviate the financial burden my clients face. Understanding a client’s values is crucial to providing them with options that will align their investments with their values, build a strong family legacy, make a philanthropic impact or educate their children. Being an advocate, confidant, friend, and advisor to my clients is what makes my job so rewarding to me.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
Outside of Bernstein, I put all my energy into spending time with those who matter most to me. There is nothing better than cooking a nutritious dinner and catching up over a fabulous bottle of wine with my boyfriend, family, and dear friends. Together we also love to try different workout studios, which bring out the most positive, healthiest versions of ourselves. I like to say, “I go where the warmth is,” because it is these relationships that spark joy and passion within me rather than a specific activity or place.
What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?
The people. Early on in my tenure, I had the pleasure of working beside successful Advisors that had been at the firm for decades. It became clear to me that while there had been numerous innovations and a vast expansion of our investment platform, the culture of Bernstein had remained intact since it was founded in 1967. Bernstein’s people are dedicated to always acting in the best interest of each and every client. This commitment to business ethics and doing right by our clients aligns perfectly with my thoughtful and detailed approach.
