Fiduciary Oversight with a Boutique Approach

As a trusted advisor, I manage my practice with my clients at the heart of my work. Guiding them through the complexities of managing significant wealth and helping them achieve their financial goals is what drives me every day. Outside of work, I prioritize spending time with my family, pursuing my passions for the outdoors and giving back to my community.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

Initially, what drew me to Bernstein was the firm’s well-established reputation as a top-tier asset manager. I was particularly impressed by its ability to offer clients the benefits of a large firm in a personalized, boutique format. In a marketplace that can often feel oversaturated, I appreciated Bernstein’s innovative approach to providing clients with a distinct experience that manifests not only through the firm’s investment management capabilities, but also through the many elements of financial planning that help guide clients through the complexities that come along with managing significant wealth.

What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?

My clients are at the heart of my work as a trusted advisor, and serving them is the most fulfilling aspect of my job. Despite the common clichés in the investment industry, earning clients’ trust by demonstrating an unwavering commitment to act in their best interests is a deeply rewarding experience. Whether my clients possess a high degree of financial knowledge or rely solely on my judgment and advice, I don’t take lightly that entrusting someone with the management of one’s wealth requires great personal and professional consideration. I’m grateful for the opportunity to guide them not only through the technical aspects of investments and planning but also the practical and emotional decisions related to managing their financial affairs. Being a steady voice of reason and helping my clients achieve their financial goals gives me great purpose.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

Outside of work, my time is primarily devoted to my family and taking advantage of the outdoors. Being a proud father of two has been the most rewarding experience of my life, and spending time with my children is my top priority. When I’m not with my family, you can generally find me golfing, fishing or working on my land in New Hampshire. I also serve on the boards of several nonprofit organizations whose missions I deeply believe in, and I find great fulfillment in staying engaged with them. Whether I’m spending time with my family or pursuing my passions, I endeavor to make the most of every day.
